Alerts error 1069. The service did not start due to a login failure

Problem Details:  
Abra Alerts have stopped stopped running. When restarting the service, it gives the following error message.

'Error 1069: The service did not start due to a login failure.'

 

Solution:

Check the permissions of the user account the service is using to logon.  It is likely that the permissions or the password have been changed for that account.
