Reporting Periods for New Year Not Available

Problem Details:

Trying to enter transactions for the new year but reporting periods are not available.

 

Solution:

Reporting periods are user created, not system created.  For each year, reporting periods must be created.

To create a new reporting period:

1. Select General Ledger from the top navigation bar.
2. Click Open Setup.
3. Choose Reporting Periods.
4. Add the new reporting Periods.

For consistency, it is recommended to check the format of past reporting periods and create the new ones the same way.
