How to Create/Add a new Company
There are two options.
We strongly recommend engaging one of our consultants to ensure that your new database and company are setup properly.
If you wish to do it yourself: first create a new database in SQL; add it to the company list in Sage Database Setup; Open the Company in Sage and identify the fiscal year; Setup Company Profile in Common Services; Activate Modules in Administrative Services; and then Setup Options for each module. You can copy setup options from an existing company to save time. Add the GL chart of accounts and setup Banks and Taxes. Add AP vendors, AR Customers, and IC Items. Enter opening balances.
