When performing an action, an error message: "Unable to create record. Invalid Item X specified" will show.
Most likely, the item ID indicated in the error message is Inactive.
- Go to Order Entry from the top navigation bar.
- Click Items under Lists.
- Select "Include Inactive".
- In the Item ID cell, type the Item ID indicated on the error message.
- Click "Go".
- Look at the "Status" column for that item to see if the item is Active or Inactive. If the item is active, troubleshoot the issue further. If the item is inactive, make the item active to resolve the issue.
