How to setup cheques for printing
Firstly go to Cash Management / Setup / Checking Accounts. Click on Edit next to the required bank. Go to the Check Printing tab. This is where the banking information and the check printing specs are setup. Enter the appropriate information in the following sections:
- Company address and logo
- Print settings
- MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition)
When these settings are completed, click Save.
To make minor adjustments to the check for when it is printing, go to Company and click on My Preferences under the Company section. Almost at the bottom of this page is a section called 'Check Printing'. Edit the 'Printing Offsets' fields to assist with aligning the check on the pre-printed check form.
