Changing vendor name does not update the primary vendor contact, even though the vendor contact name has been changed.
The contact name on the screen pulls from the Suggested Contact field, and this field is not able to be edited. This is due to linking the Suggested Contact with the person to contact from that company instead of the company name.
Steps to fix are as follows:
- create a new contact with the correct name
- make the old contact (wrong name) inactive
- set the correct contact in the vendor record on the contacts tab
