Timecard Entries not Showing up in Payroll Run

Problem Details:

Have entered a timecard for an employee, but when running 'Calculate Payroll' and checking values on the pre-check register, the timecard entries are not being calculated in the pay run



There may be several reasons for this. 

  • Ensure the pay period end date on the Calculate Payroll screen is the same as the pay period end date on the timecard.
  • Check the earning and deduction code on the timecard and verify that the frequency of that code is selected on the Calculate Payroll screen
  • Check the employee record and go to the Pay tab.  Make sure that the 'calculate' field for the specific earning/deduction code on the timecard is set to 'yes' and that the 'end date' has not passed.
