When trying to post an Item Number Change, a message comes up saying that "Previous Posts have errors which have not been corrected" - and the current post cannot continue
See Item Number Change for specific instructions on using this utility. When the above error appears, go to View / Message Log.
Click on the Error tab to view the errors listed there. These errors indicate there was a problem with the previous posting. Before any new posting can be done, these errors must be fixed and posted - or the error log printed and cleared. To print the error log, click on File and then Print/Clear - Error Log. Once the error log is cleared, new item change records can be processed.
