Changing the sort order in the finder

Problem Details:

When using the Finder for Employees, the list is sorted by employee number.  Is there a way to sort by employee name? 

 

Solution:

Yes!  By default, the finder for payroll employees is sorted by employee number.   When in the finder screen, click on 'Key'

Here you will see a list of fields that you can select to be sorted by.  The most common for payroll employees is to sort by Last Name. 

 This Key field option exists in all the finder screens, so anywhere a finder is available, the key fields that can be used to sort by can be changed.
